I recently purchased two nest doorbell camera generation two. I’m not receiving notifications. I have spent hours verifying all notification are toggled on, Airplane mode is off, And went through several checklist and everything is correct on the Nest app and the Google Home app, but I’m not receiving notifications at all. I’m thinking about returning them. Somethings wrong. Can somebody please help.

Under Settings | Notifications | Google Home on your iPhone, do you have "Allow Notifications", "Critical Alerts", and "Time Sensitive Notifications" turned on?

After 3 hours. I figured it out. Now its working. This may be helpful for anyone not receiving alerts on
their Nest Wired Doorbell Gen 2. The problem was the Away-only notifications was on. Turned it off and now I am receiving alerts. Below is how to turn it off.
Go to your camera on your Google Home App.
Tap on your camera
Hit the 3 horizontal dots in the upper right hand corner
Tap Settings
Tap Notifications
You will see Away-only notifications. Turn it off (Make sure Push notifications are on)
Then
Tap on event and zone settings
Add a zone using the blue dots
Save zone by clicking the check mark in the upper right hand corner
Then you can choose what alerts you want.
There you go
