Nest Camera Blue Light

Hello,

I had to perform a factory reset on my Nest Cam Outdoor.  I have since been unable to locate and add the camera back to my Home app.  When plugged in a blue light slowly flashes and while "Looking for device" the camera is never found via the Home app after numerous attempts.  I've reset my router and reinstalled the Home app, no luck, just a continuous blinking blue light.  Please advise.  Thank you.

I'm guessing you actually have the Google Nest Battery Camera, since the Google Nest Outdoor Camera is installed in the Google Nest app and can only be factory reset by removing it from the Google Nest app.

Are you plugging your camera into either your charging cord or optional power cable during the install process (with the cord feeding towards the FRONT of the camera), as noted in the instructions?

Yes, I'm using the the charging cord that was supplied with the Google Nest Cam (Outdoor or Indoor / Battery) device.  The 2nd generation, model G3AL9.  I removed it from the Google Nest App.  I hope that helps.

Well, I'm confused. The Google Nest Cm (Outdoors or indoor / Battery) cannot be removed from the Google Nest app because it only gets installed in the Google Home app.

My only suggestion is the one I made above.  Are you plugging in your camera into the charging cord DURING the install process (with the cord feeding towards the FRONT of the camera) as noted in the installlation video?

Yes

I don't have any further suggestions.  Maybe it's related to what led you to perform a factory reset.
