Purchased and installed Nest Camera outdoors and hardwired it to an outlet. Signed up for Nest Aware through Google Home. For first 30 days or so, wife and I received notifications. Recently notifications stopped. Read various articles to troubleshoot. Wonder if the first 30 days free on Nest Aware while it worked but now have gone past 30 day free trial. Again, paying for Nest Aware Subscription.
Looked at the various settings for Locations Svcs, within Google Home for the camera and they all seemed to be correct.

I am having a similar situation using Google home. I don't receive any notifications from my cameras. I have a new Nest battery cam that only works with the Google Home app, so I expected it to convey any alerts that I set in the app. Nothing. All quiet.
Still looking for solution.

Is your Nest Aware subscription for the same Google Nest "home/structure" as your camera? If you go to the Subscription Management page (https://store.google.com/subscriptions) and select your subscription, it shows the name of the Google Nest "home/structure".
If you go to your camera in the Google Home app and go to Settings | Video | Video history, which option is checked?

Yes - my Nest Aware subscription has the same "home/structure" name as showing on the camera.
The Settings/Video/Video History option is "30 day event video history" checked. This is what I subscribed with Nest Aware at the end of May 2024.

I can see the recorded events and "live" feed but my wife and I used to get alerts/notifications but recently they stopped. Hopefully it has nothing to do with the Nest Aware "first 30 days free" that began on 5/25 and ended 6/25.
But it is strange that we think about the end of June, we noticed that we were not receiving alerts/notifications. On 6/25, we were billed & paid for the monthly Nest Aware service at $8.48 ($8 plus tax?)

I'll need to get back to you on the home/structure, however my camera option has the 60 day event/ 10 day 24/7 recording option checked.

Under Settings | Events | Seen events, do you still have notifications turned on for at least one event?
You could try the "Contact us" option under "Nest Aware Premier Care" on the page below to "Get 24/7 access to Nest Aware Experts on the Nest Customer Care team. They’re available to answer questions, help you access features, and manage your subscription."

currently on the phone with one of the Google representatives. Gave them access to my camera but in the midst of resolution.

Was on the phone for 90 minutes with the Google Nest rep. She was excellent and walked through various settings with my phone and my wife’s phone. She said to give it 48 hours. After that time, things seem to work. However noticed that when our setting is “Home”, we can see events bit without an alert. However if set to “Away”, the notification alert works. Strange !?!?
