Nest Camera Replacement

BillF

Well let me start with the fact that I have had Nest Cameras for about 10+ years, I also have two accounts so I wasn't very happy to learn that the Company was Sunsetting these cameras. However when I received the Email stating that the Company (Google) was going to be kind enough to replace for FREE two cameras on the house I felt much better. I replaced three cameras in my home in Florida (two of them were Covered by the Email as stated but when I replaced the three Cameras I have at my home in New Jersey (separate Account) they were not covered. I was told that the special code was ALREADY USED so I had to Pay for all Three Cameras.

Don't feel the love HERE from Google!! Why the Hell am I paying for two accounts, maybe I should cancel both accounts and go to SimpliSafe Cameras. What do you all think?

I’m equally frustrated by split cameras on Nest and Google; the poor support when confused; the loss of history when adding devices…. I’m checking my emails for device trade ins now though. Lol.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for being a valued customer and part of the Nest family. I'm sorry for the trouble — let's get this sorted out.

@BillF, is your New Jersey home linked to a different email address? If so, you should have received a separate email with a different redemption code.

If you have two or more eligible Dropcams, you can redeem the offer for up to two indoor wired Nest Cams. You can read our blog post here.

For assistance in redeeming the promo code, reach out to our Google Store team.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Lance
