Hi, I saw some other posts about this issue but couldn’t find how to fix the problem. I set up a new nest camera (wired) in my business about a month ago. It was fine for a week or two and then we noticed there is a static noise and we cannot hear anything in the videos except static now. Doesn’t matter if it is live or recorded, all we hear is static. Anything we can do to fix this?

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, have you checked the wires connected to your Nest Camera? How many Nest Cameras do you have? Try disconnecting and reconnecting your Nest Camera from its wire. Also, try restarting it and let us know how it goes.

Hey, sorry I have been really busy and hadn’t had a chance to respond. I did check the wires. I just have one Nest Camera - Indoor (Wired) model. I also tried restarting it and there was no change. If I was describing the sound I would say it sounds like when you’re on the phone with someone and they are outside on a really windy day. Except you cannot hear anything that is going on, you just hear the windy mic sound.

I appreciate your update. We would recommend you to reset your Nest Camera to the factory default and re-add it to your to check if its having the same issue. Let us know your update there.
