Nest Camera gives notifications despite being configured to be off when we are at home

I'm having the exact same issue as mentioned on this thread: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Cameras-and-Doorbells/Nest-Camera-gives-person-notifications-...

Even though I have the notification setting to only notify when we are not home, I get notifications. It's VERY annoying.

Any suggestions on how to fix?

Hi @Brad , yesir. I've disabled all notifications due to getting too many false alarms. I'd like to use the notifications as intended! 😄 Let me know what I need to do to help debug. Thanks

Hey there,

Are you using Home + Away settings? Have you gone through your settings and reduced the amount of notifications you are getting? You can try to lower the settings to make it work with you.

Best regards,

Brad

Yes, I've ensured that my Home+Away settings are accurate. I have given all the appropriate permissions on my iPhone. I've reduced the notifications for when I'm away, but still get notified.

🙄What was the point of this back'n'forth for you to just tell me to submit feedback in the app?

I was hoping someone could confirm this is an issue, or if it's isolated to my use-case.

I'll submit the feedback and hold my breath for a resolution. 😉
