Nest Camera sensing a person falling

My adult son is non verbal autistic. He has a history of sleepwalking. He recently had a fall in which the ADT security sensors were triggered by the noise and the force created when he fell into baseboard heater (under the window). I installed a Google Nest indoor wired camera inside his room a couple days later which will pick up when he moves throughout the room but could a Google Nest camera pick up a person falling and send an alert? And even trigger the ADT security system?

Hi there!

Thanks for your reply.

I’m sorry to hear the inconveniences that you had before buying the Nest Camera. I understand that you would like to have the camera detect if someone falls and that this event triggers the ADT security system. However, this feature is still not available; the camera can just detect general motion but no action. Your feedback is invaluable to us and helps us identify areas for improvement. Then here I send you the feedback form where you can put your suggestions, and then we can start to work to have them in the future.

You can check the next articles for further information: What you get with a Nest Aware subscription and How Nest cameras detect sound and motion

If you still have assistance, you can keep posting.

Regards,

Derick.
