So I just received and set up our 4 Nest Cams, however, I also payed $60 for a yearly subscription to Nest Aware. On the Nest Cam site, it stated that I could use these cameras with facial recognition and other features by using Nest Aware.
Whenever I open Google Home App and go to Nest Aware, it shows no compatible devices. Very frustrated about the fact I spent money for Nest aware, because Google stated that these cameras were compatible. What is the deal Google????

If you download the nest app onto a phone
also the new cameras only work with google home but I think you still need to sign into or sign up on the nest app using the same gmail account so it can link your subscription to your cameras from nest to google. I know it’s a pain but hopefully they make it easier going forward.
I had the same problem now we use both apps which isn’t bad we get the best of both worlds hope this helps.

Got this figured out. Just had to download Nest app and started working with Google Home app. Thanks!
