I purchased a home that had the cameras already installed. How do I go about resetting these cameras and adding them to my account for usage?

Make sure the previous owner removed the cameras from their Google Nest app or Google Home app (as appropriate) while still on their Wi-Fi network, then perform a factory reset on each camera, and then reinstall them in the Google Nest app or Google Home app (as appropriate).

Thank you for your response. Do you know if your u can reset if the cameras were not reset by the previous owners?

Some 1st gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells can only be factory reset by removing them from the Google Nest app by the device's owner.
See the second link I provided earlier for details on factory resets. (Be sure to scroll down past the "Restart" instructions.)

I think I am out of luck. Previous owner passed, not access to him or the old network.
But I thank you very much for your response!

SOME of the 1st gen cameras CAN be manually factory reset; see the specifics for each camera.
For those that cannot, you can wait until the previous owner's Nest Aware subscription period expires (up to 60 days); see this Help topic:
