Nest Doorbell Battery and outdoor / indoor unavailable in home app on Pixel 7 Pro

So my doorbell and 2 cameras say unavailable in home app on my pixel 7 pro. works fine on my Chromebook app. i have deleted and re-added the units, deleted and reinstalled the home app to no avail. 

any ideas?

What type of Nest cameras and doorbell do you have? Does it happen on both Wi-Fi and mobile data?


Let's try these troubleshooting steps below:

  • Go to your phone's Settings > General > Date and Time.
  • Toggle off and on the automatic date and time.
  • Check the box for Automatic time zone.
  • Next, go back to Settings > Apps > Nest > Permissions.
  • Set the location to Allow all the time.
  • Check the Play Store for Home app updates.
  • Check for any available Android OS updates.
  • Open the device's Settings > tap Apps > find Google Home > tap Force stop.
  • Go back to Settings > Apps > Google Home > Storage & cache > Tap Clear cache and Clear storage.

If the issue persists, uninstall the Home app from the phone, restart it, then reinstall the app from the Play Store.
