Nest Doorbell (Battery) not working and unable to do factory reset

Hi, 

I have the Nest doorbell battery (latest gen). It lost WiFi connection now, and after trying other ways, I tried to factory reset by following the below instructions [WITH RESULTS IN PARANTHESES]. 

  1. Insert and hold the pin (you can use an unfolded paperclip or a thumbtack):
    • At 10 seconds, the status light will blink yellow four times, and you'll hear a countdown tone. [IT DOES NOT BLINK YELLOW. INSTEAD I SEE A STEADY WHITE LIGHT]
    • At 12 seconds, the status light will be steady, solid yellow while the doorbell starts the factory reset, and you'll hear a confirmation tone. [AFTER SOME 20 SECS, THE STEADY GREEN LIGHT APPEARS, AND THEN IT MAKES A RING SOUND AFTER ANOTHER 10 SECS]
  2. Release the button. Your doorbell will restore to its factory settings. [NO ITS NOT RESETTING]
