I had two Nest Doorbell (1st Gen). When it got cold there was a lot of buzzing coming from the doorbell. The buzzing would continue to get worse and eventually the doorbell would ring repeatedly until I got up and disconnected them. I talked with Customer service and we went through the trouble shooting steps. I eventually wound up replacing the transformer, which did not help. So in the cold months I would just disconnect the doorbell. I recently decided to by a new doorbell to replace one of the first gens. I noticed that it had a chime connector, which the first get does not have. Is there a way to get a chime connector for my other first gen doorbell to see if that fixes the issue?
@leghorn96, just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, we would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let us know..
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer and JT.
