Nest Doorbell (battery) Image quality and colors

What does your image quality look like on your Nest Doorbell battery? I have 8 total Nest/Google cameras and I feel like this doorbell quality is horrible, even compared to my old Nest outdoor/indoor cameras. This is how it has been right out of the box, and I've had it for about 4 months now. The camera is under an a small porch awning and is on the north side of the house so it does not get any sun. At night time the image is pretty good. But the quality is nothing like advertised and videos I've seen on YouTube. It just looks very dark to me and I do have it wired in and on  the highest image settings and on 1 gigabit internet connection.
