Nest Doorbell (battery) doesn't ring on connected speakers. Visitor announcements is on. Speakers and doorbell under correct home. Speakers are mini, home and Nest audio. Each works for other purposes. I receive notification when bell is rung, video works, soft ring heard at the doorbell itself. Thanks

You were right, took getting to next level from initial service rep. In my case, speakers were associated with a prior home, but even when removed from the prior home they couldn't be set up in current home despite removing app, reinstalling app. Were present under "cast devices" though and worked for weather etc... but not for doorbell ring. Instructions that worked was:

Open the Google Home app .
Open the home the device is in.
Touch and hold your device's tile.
Tap Settings Device information. Home.
Tap the home you want to move the device to Next. Move device.
If asked, tap the room you want to move the device to. Next.
Assign the Google Home Mini to a specific room.

For the first speaker, holding down the tile through the settings part was the key, subsequent speakers went easily by Google set up.
Hope it helps someone. Thank you EmptyNester

Hi Bernieb1,  I'm an end user like you.   I have seen other people having this issue as well.   I believe the only way to get this working is you need to open a support ticket with the folks at Google as they need to fix something in their back end server.

By the way,  If you say "Hey Google show me my front door" does it bring up the video image?

Here is the link to start a support ticket:

https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp

Please return here and let us know if they were able to get it working.  This could help other people going forward.

Thanks, will do. When I ask Assistant reply is "Sorry, I don't know where to play the video. Please tell me the exact name of the screen"
