Nest Doorbell is wired but displaying battery level?

Hello - I just recently moved into a new home and installed a Google Nest doorbell. I wired it and everything was working perfectly fine. While getting familiar with some of the settings, it displayed the "infinity" symbol letting me know it was wired and constantly charged.  I decided I wanted to install the 20 degree wedge that came with it. So I took it all apart, put in the wedge, and put it all back together. However, when I tried snapping the device onto the bracket, I pulled down a bit too hard and actually pulled the 2 prongs out from the back of the doorbell, and also from the existing wiring / black wire adapter that came with it. Now, one of the prongs was bent and I noticed some of the exposed copper wiring from my existing doorbell had ripped away. There was still plenty of copper wiring exposed to re-attach so that's what I did. I eventually got it all back up and running....BUT, now it is displaying battery levels and not giving me that "infinity symbol." What have I done??? Is it no longer wired? could I have damaged the little black prong wire adapter that came with it? The doorbell seems to be working perfectly fine, doing what it's suppose to do. It just doesn't register as if it's wired. Extremely frustrated by my big dopey hands at this point. Thoughts? Suggestions??? Help. Thanks in advance

Hi, even with a power supply, heavy use of the recording time and alerts will drain the battery faster than the charge can keep up. I'd suggest charging by USB to above 75% (any more than this is a waste as it will not charge more than this on the wire when installed) and then trying to wire again, if you see the infinity sign, then all good.... just reduce the amount of alerts and recordings etc.
