Nest Doorbell not Announcing on Amazon Alexa

My new Nest Doorbell is not announcing visitors on Amazon Alexa when the doorbell is pressed.

This is the same problem discussed here.  I've followed all the setup instructions and did the restart suggested in the post.

What can I do?
