We installed our new Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) according to specifications. The blue light is on, there is a strong wi-fi signal at the door, everything has been tested, BUT, the Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) is not communicating with our Netgear Mesh Wi-Fi.
Does anyone know if there is a setting in the Mesh Wi-Fi that needs adjustment? If so, please send exact instructions. Thank you, we appreciate your help.

A flashing blue light means your doorbell is either ready to connect or is trying to connect. What exactly happens in the Google Home app when you then try to install your doorbell in the Google Home app?

I receive no response from the Google Home app on my Iphone 7.

I really do need help. As I see now, I never had a blue light in the tiny hole beneath the camera. There was a blue ring of light around the doorbell button and I mistook that for the blue light.
So I now think I may have hooked up wires wrong. I need to remove the doorbell from the cradle so I can check the wires. But there seems to be no way to remove the doorbell. There is no set screw and there is no hole where I can insert any sort of tool, not even the tiny pokey thing that was included with the doorbell. I figure that if I can check and fix all the wiring the doorbell may work. It rings the chime but does nothing else.

Hello folks,
@AtownBill If you have the Nest doorbell wired 2nd gen, you will see a screw at the very top of the device. It's at the back and it has a hex shape which you will need an allen wrench to unscrew it. After you remove the actual Nest doorbell, hit this link to reset it.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer, Brad and Archie.
Best,
Emerson

Thank you for your suggestion. My doorbell (got it from Google) has no hex screw. The doorbell snapped into the base on two tabs sticking out from the base. The doorbell shipped with a SIM card remover tool and I thought that would allow me to unmount the doorbell but I can find no little hole to poke the tool into. Honest, Google shipped me this doorbell and the tool came with it. I didn't buy the doorbell from any other company, just Google.

I have a similar situation. Doorbell is installed, it rings the chime, but there is no video on my phone. My wifi router is Google mesh.

did not mention: I have attempted install on both the Nest app and the Google Home app. I go through all the steps but at the end the connection fails.

If you have the 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell that is the topic of this thread, it can ONLY be installed in and appear in the Google Home app. When you say "the connection fails", exactly what happens? Do you have other Google Nest devices?

I mostly installed it from following the instruction in the Google Pro installation book, coordinating the steps with Google Home.
At the end of the installation process on Google Home the program says that no connection was found.
I have gone through all of the installation steps on Google Home and also tried it on Nest (I have the 3rd gen thermostat). In every installation attempt the end result is the same. Thank you for responding.

I have no familiarity with Google Nest Wifi Pro. But the fact that you're getting no connection found from both the Google Home app for your doorbell and the Google Nest app for your thermostat is curious. Could it be related to the 6E capability that others in this forum have found challenging?
