Nest Doorbell (wired) Installation

There appears to be a faulty core assumption in the installation video and step by step instructions for the Nest Doorbell (wired).  It’s that one will be able to pass excess wire (or the wire extensions and clips) into the hole that supplies the doorbell wire.  Nest needs to come up with an alternative product or extender/casing (sold separately?) that will allow the excess wires/clips to be stored within the mounting wedge/mounting bracket (without having to enlarge/dig out the existing hole or drill new ones). In my case, I have to buy a 3rd party product that may do the trick.  Crossing my fingers.

Excellent point! When we added a third Nest Hello and drilled a hole to connect it to the wiring from an OhmKat Power Adapter for the Nest Hello, I couldn't feed the excess wire into the narrow hole. So I bought a wedge extender on Amazon so I could carefully curl the excess wires inside the wedge extender. (We also needed it to compensate for the angle on our siding.)
