Nest Gen 1 Wired Camera

I have two, 4 year old Nest Gen 1 camera's that worked perfectly until 3 weeks ago. I got a notification from Google that I should transfer them to Google Home. I did and they would not work. Unable to connect to wifi, the same one, same location that they have been working on for 4 years. I tried to reconnect to Nest app, it says, moved to Google Home and won't reconnect there. Spent an hour on phone with Google help and nothing they tried worked. Told me to unplug for one to two days. I did for 72 hours and tried again, same results. Called Google help again and she did all the same fixes that I did the week before, no luck. She connected me to a supervisor and she tried several other fixes and told me I was out of luck, They could not remove it from Google Home and I couldn't reconnect to the Nest app. She did tell me they would e-mail me if they figured anything out. Very upset that two camera's that worked perfectly are now trash because they wanted me to transfer them to Google Home. Anyone have a similar issue or fix?

There are these two unresolved threads that started two weeks ago:

https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Apps-Account/Camera-offline-since-transferred-to-Google-Home/...

https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Cameras-and-Doorbells/Nest-wired-outdoor-camera-keeps-going-o...

I'm still holding off transferring our 1st gen cameras and doorbells. I did transfer the camera in our Nest Hub Max as a test, because we seldom use that camera.

If I had it to do over again, I wouldn’t. Basically trashed two cameras. If I didn’t know better, I would think this is intentional to get you to upgrade cameras.

It looks like my response from yesterday didn’t go through.thanks for your response, I looked at both threads, no answers there. I’ve done everything Google support asked to the point they finally said something like “don’t call us back, we’ll email you if we discover a solution”,

I’m having the same issue, only thing that works is if we unplug the camera and replug it, then it works for about 6 hours only. I am thinking of putting a timer on the camera that turns it off and on every 6 hours. If anyone figures something out please advise
