Nest Hello Doorbell Not Playing Video

We have a Nest Hello Doorbell, and do not have Nest Aware. When I look for video history within the 3-hour window of free playback, all I am able to see are single clips 5 seconds apart. Is a video playback option available without Nest Aware or are the clips all I am able to see without a subscription?

You have to have a Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription in order to get any video history beyond the most recent 3 hours.  We have a Nest Aware Plus subscription, and, like @EmptyNester , are glad we have it.

Just the clips.   The 3 hours refers to any clips recorded in the last 3 hours.     I have had the Nest Aware Plus subscription now for years and I love having the 24/7 recordings.  For me it is worth the price.
