Nest Hello connected to defunct Google Home account. Can't transfer ownership.

We installed the Nest Hello about a year ago, on an Google Home account.  We no longer know which account it's connected to... and as such, cannot release ownership.  We're trying to adopt it into our new Google Home account, but setup says the Nest Hello is attached to another account.  PLEASE HELP!  Now we have a useless brick doorbell.

The simplest thing to log onto the Google Home app with each of your Google Accounts in succession to see which of your Google Accounts includes your Nest Hello doorbell.

Otherwise, Google Nest does not have a process to transfer ownership without first doing a factory reset and  removing the Nest Hello from the previous account:
