Nest Outdoor Camera (Battery) Not Adding to Google Home

Hello, I had my Nest Outdoor Camera (battery) setup and it was working great, we lost power and now it won't reconnect. I have removed it from my Google Home, did a factory reset and still will not add to my devices. Please help! 

The camera was apart of a two pack and I was able to setup the 2nd camera perfectly with no issues. When I tried again today to setup the original camera, I still get this error, I am standing right next to the router and have done the resets. Please let me know what else I can do to trouble shoot. If you read thru this forum you will see a lot of people have had this same issue.   A few people have reported that they use a different phone or table and try to add it that way and sometimes it works.

Another thing you can try is filling out a support ticker (link below) and then after you answer the questions you will be able to speak with a Google Tech person and hopefully they can talk you thru it.

If this works please return here and let us know how it got fixed.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries; we'll check this out. Just a few questions: What is the LED light on the Nest Camera battery after you factory reset it? Have you tried it on a different phone? If so, did you reinstall the Google Home app? I look forward to your response.
