I switched wifi networks for a new router. I tried numerous times to reconnect with no luck. I removed the device and goto add product both in Nest app and Google home and the camera still will not connect. Unplugged power and replugged in. Blue light will blink however there is no connection. The camera was working before. My other Nest products are working: Door bell snd Thermostat.

Google Nest does not make it easy to update Wi-Fi settings for its cameras and doorbells. That's why they suggest setting the network name [SSID] and password on your new router/modem to the same values used on your older router/modem:

Did you remove your camera from the Google Nest app or Google Home app (as appropriate, depending on the camera) while you were still on your old Wi-Fi network?
If you did not, you probably need to do a manual factory reset (to clear out the old Wi-Fi settings) before reinstalling:

(If you have the older Google Nest Outdoor Camera, there is no factory reset button, so if the camera was not removed from the Google Nest app while you were still on your old Wi-Fi network, things may be problematic.)
When re-installing, the older, 1st gen Google Nest Outdoor Camera can only be installed in the Google Nest app. The newe, 2nd gen battery camera can only be installed in the Google Home app.
What exactly happens when you do try to re-install?

In both apps it says it connecting and then says try again after the yellow triangle icon comes up or says quit.

I still can't tell which camera you have, but Google Nest does not make any cameras that can be installed in either app. 1st gen cameras can only be installed in the Google Nest app and 2nd gen cameras can only be installed in the Google Home app. So it's odd that you get the same result from both apps.
Did you remove your camera either from the Google Nest app or the Google Home app while you were still on your old Wi-Fi network? Did you do a factory reset?

Rescanning the QR seems to be the only way to reset these cameras. They are both working. What would you recommend to recover the power wire, the protectve white layer has dry rotted about 3 inches. Underneath wires are fine.

You could try contacting Support to see if they'll replace the cable, using the link and instructions below:
If this happens to our 4-year-old Google Nest Outdoor Cameras, I think I'd remove any corrosion and wrap it carefully in white duct tape.
