I am having multiple issues getting the new Google Nest Products to connect to multiple clients Google Home app - Especially if they already have an original Nest device in the app.
I have factory reset, created new homes, tried multiple IOS devices for set-up, even went out and purchased an Android device for good measure. I am having NO luck getting the devices to connect to the Google Home App.
It gets through every step and at the last "finishing up" step. It always fails and says something went wrong, and to start the process over again.
The only option I have not tried is removing all other devices from the home/account and starting over. If this is the only fix, it is not a pliable fix, I have some customers that have 10+ devices especially cameras mounted in different parts of the house and garages.
I charge $75 per device to install, and have installed HUNDREDS of Nest Products over the years. Now since google bought out NEST and they released their own line of products, I am running into major issues.
Google - If these issues are not resolved soon (I have read about issues like these since October of 2021) I will be forced to leave the Google/Nest product line and find a different more integrator friendly device.
