Any updates on the nest app or any improvements to the home app?

Hello, I'm an end user as well. There will not be any nest app improvements as that app is being phased out. Many of the next app function are being migrated to the Google Home app. And in fact there is a 'preview' version of some of the new features available by invite. You can request to be invited in the Google Home app itself. I believe you can do this (if my memory is correct) by going into the Google Home app and in the upper right corner click on your name (or small circle). From there click on HOME APP SETTINGs and there should be a selection for 'request preview'.

I appreciate the help, Alex.

Thanks,

Thank you.  I think I signed up. Have not received any notices. Do you know if Google Home will become a pay app like Nest. If so, I hope it adopts some of the intuitive features of Nest.
