Nest cam doorbell battery life while plugged in

Ok why is it that I upgrade my transformer, have away and home routines (on when out, off when home) and this thing still takes over a week to charge on top of dying fully within days with a small zone when routines are off.. why can't you guys push out an update to allow more constant trickle charges? It's really not hard at all since it's clearly software based cause when plugged into a charger it'll fully charge in 4 hours.. this is ridiculous... And I don't know why it's advertised as months of battery life cause out the box most it's lasted has been 5 days before I plugged it in followed by upgrading the transformer....

Hey Vin0925,

I’m sorry for the trouble this has caused you, let me help you out. Could you try restarting your Nest doorbell to see if that helps? Also, resetting it to its default settings might do the trick. Learn more here.

Thanks,

Archie

I've done this twice and nothing has changed during the month.

Hey Vin0925,

Thanks for trying. Do you have an Activity zone set up on your doorbell? Also, try to adjust the angle of your camera to a more productive area that catches fewer unimportant activities.

Thanks,

Archie
