If you have the battery camera, it attaches by turning it clockwise, as shown at about 4:08 on this video, so you should twist counter clockwise to remove it:

yes I understand, I am saying it is not twisting/ turning at all.
I have a few of these, i think the mount plate is on the magnet incorrectly, i do not see the screw holes, so it may be on there wrong (not sure why it even fits, but it is so snug that i can not twist it apart)

I've never had to unmount our battery camera. I mounted it over 2 years ago and can't remember exactly how I did it. But I'm guessing you may need to push the magnetic plate against the wall plate while turning it counter-clockwise.
I don't understand your comment about not seeing the screw holes. I don't know how you could see the screw holes when the bracket is mounted on the wall.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding. Has this camera never been mounted, and you just have a magnetic plate and wall plate that are stuck together? If so, is it possible the screw holes haven't been punched through? If you press the two together and then turn counter-clockwise, can you get them apart? If that doesn't work, can you insert a flathead screwdriver under the wall plate so you can try to PULL the two plates apart while you twist?
Otherwise, you could try contacting Support, using the link and instructions in this post:

the screw driver helped! (these have not yet been mounted. these are indoor/outdoor cams, they come with a bracket that already has holes in it to mount it.). thanks for the responses, i got it, all good now.
