Nest cam not charging?

Lauriepnw

I have 9 nest battery powered cams, all outdoor except 1, and all connected to power with the Google outdoor plug. When I first installed them several months ago, I didn't have power to their outlets yet, and I kept them charged by taking them down and plugging in. 2 of the cams were really inaccessible, and they both eventually ran out of battery life. After outlets were installed, I plugged in all 9. These two however refuse to com back online. The Google home app shows that they have no battery left in spite of being plugged in for a week. I took 1 down (note: steady green light before i took it down) brought it inside, tried a different cable, restarted it via the button on the back. The white light comes on at restart and then goes to blinking white with chord sound. I tried adding the device again but Google home doesn't find it. I'm stumped. What else is there?

Update: I did a factory reset. Now it is working again and says it will be fully charged in 40 minutes.
