My Nest cam also will not come back on after a power outage. Used to be one camera and now it's two cameras that are both powered from the same building. My other two cameras have other electrical circuits and have never experienced the issue. I am thinking of putting a battery backup on the offending circuit.
To date I was solving the problem by unplugging / replugging camera power. I have the same issue as others of being out of town and later having to go into the attic - it's a pain.
I will try today to put a 15-30 minute battery backup on the circuit.

I did put a 450 VA UPS to power two cameras. This size UPS will last more than a couple of hours when power drops. I will report results after the next power outage!
