Nest cam not supporting 24/7 recording after wired connection

Installed my 2nd nest outdoor cam and connected it to a power source. But I still don’t have 24/7 recording what may be the issue?

@Nestnest 

Do you have the older Google Nest Outdoor Cameras, which are installed in the Google Nest app and haven't been sold for almost two years? If so, is the Nest Aware subscription you had the 1st Gen Nest Aware subscription that applies to individual cameras? If so, you'd have to add a subscription for your second camera to get 24/7 recording.

I you have a Nest Aware Plus subscription, which applies to all of the cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure", is your camera in the same "home/structure" as your other camera?

You can check your Nest Aware subscription by going to Settings | Nest Aware in either the Google Nest app or the Google Home app.

You can also check the the subscription on your individual camera by going to the camera in the Google Nest appand checking Settings | Nest Aware, or by going to your camera in the Google Home App and checking what is checked under Settings | Video | Video history.

If you have the newer Google Nest Camera (Battery), do you have it plugged in with the 1-meter charging cord or with the optional power cable? Some customers have reported issues trying to power their camera with the charging cord. If you go to to your camera in the Google Home app and go to Settings | Battery, it should say "Plugged in" with an infinity symbol and your camera should always be "Live".
