Nest cam with lights (wired)

I’ve had the nest cam/floodlight unit fitted today and no matter how I try it will not connect to the home app. It tells me it’s connecting then says there is a problem. WiFi is good. Sparky says it’s getting power. Help!

Double check that it is within range of your wifi (probably is). I replaced my old floodlight with the Google camera floodlight and had an issue connecting. Turned out the smart light switch I’d installed in the wall to control the old floodlight was interfering with it (somehow). I swapped it out for a normal switch and it connected without any issues.

Thanks for the reply. We checked the WiFi and it’s fine, rebooted router etc.  The electrician checked the power again but I’ve noticed that when switching the unit power on there are no indicator lights on the unit itself. The instructions seem to say a light should show even before we try linking to the app?
