I’ve had my Nest cameras for several years, but the past 6mo or so, they often drop off wifi and will not automatically reconnect. So if the router is rebooted (Ie from a power outage or otherwise) one or more cameras will often go offline permanently. I have to physically reinstall by scanning the QR code. This is a huge problem when the cameras are used for security and one is not on site and able to climb up ladders, etc to reconnect each camera. There should be a way to reconnect via the app, but I have not found a way to do without being onsite and on a ladder to physically access the camera. Please let me know if there is a way to do this remotely.
I do NOT have this issue with my other wifi devices from printers to solar system monitors. They all connect back just fine once the wifi router comes back online.
Thank you for you help!
