Nest camera recording

Ever since nest moved to google home none of my cameras record for 30 days so now I can no longer just scroll back through the day to catch things that might not set off the event. I have used this for years to see if my dog got out and where they went. Since the transition this product is now just garbage. I’m very pissed they moved to google home.
