I have had four nest cameras for 5-6 years they work very well. Two at my office and two at my house. Have not had the two at the office not in use for the last three years. The two at my house have not been hooked up to my Starlink internet service since it was installed two years ago. I received my credit card monthly statement April 6th and seeing’s how I have not been using the BofA card for almost a year. Checking the statement charges , the annual pre-payment Nest $400.00 stood out to me. My fault but I thought it was being paid on my business charge card. I logged into my Nest program and turned all four cameras OFF..
Note, because they are off camera does NOT mean your account is inactivated… You still pay.
i have been trying since May 2025 to get a stop,Cancel with Google..
to date 10/2/2025 still waiting..
good luck and Beware of this

Yeah, turning the cameras off doesn’t stop the billing. You’ll need to cancel the Nest Aware subscription separately in your google account settings. kinda annoying how unclear they make it.

Hi MSawin100,
Thanks for your post in the community. I understand that your four Nest Cameras (two at the office and two at home) have not been actively used for two to three years. You received your credit card monthly statement on April 6th, showing a charge of $400, and you've been trying to cancel the subscription since May 2025. No worries, help is here!
To better assist you with accurate information, I’d like to confirm the following:
