My nest doorbell camera was already wired and installed but I changed the password to my wifi which caused me to do a factory reset on it (which is an entirely other ordeal). When I finally got the device reconnected to the app and network, I chose that the device was wired and already installed to avoid going through installation steps again but when I go back into the app, it saying that it's not wired therefore my indoor chime won't work anymore and I'm not sure how to change it to make sure it shows wired without having to go through the frustrating process of a factory reset again.

Do you have the original Nest HELLO doorbell or the new Nest Doorbell (Battery)?
You might try removing the power from the doorbell for about 30 seconds and reconnecting it and see if the problem goes away. I seem to remember it should auto-recognize the wired mode... but I might be wrong on that.
Hmmmm, I think your best option is to get Google tech to help you via phone or chat. Here is the link:

I haven't gotten a chance to try the solution EmptyNester suggested but I'll try turning off the power or reach out to Google tech. Thank you!
