I´ve bought a Nest doorbell (battery version) and I´ve it powered with a 20V AC transformer.
I would like to also make use of my existing Honeywell Home DW313 chime when someone pulses Nest doorbell.
There is no clear wiring diagram anywhere, explaining how to do it. My guess is that this will only work with this Chime connector that should be on the box since this product is advertised to work with electronic chime...
Am I wrong....?
This link is not for same product I have.... I have nest doorbell battery version, which can also be powered externally... anyway, in the link you sent the chime connector is being used... I think that in my case I will need it also... the thing is that this chime connector was not included in the package I bought:(
Sorry for not paying better attention to your post.
The battery doorbell does not use a chime puck/chime connector. You just connect it to your existing doorbell wires. But I don't know how your Honeywell chime is wired.
As with the Nest Hello doorbell, there is a chime duration setting for use when setting up the battery doorbell with an electronic chime. I can't speak to how well it works with an electronic chime; we still have the older Nest Hellos.
