Nest Cam outdoor/indoor battery

Hello I bought a box of 3 nest cams/battery in Sept of 2022 . I activated them at various times and placed them where i needed them. One of the cameras went offline yesterday, Jan 13th, 2023 and i cant seem to get it to connect again. This after i got closer to the router, pushed the reset button on the back of the camera itself and all the other steps that were recommended. When I plug the camera in to be charged, I don't get a ding that a connection was made as the other 2 cameras did. I brought in one of the other cameras just to see if maybe the charger was bad and its working just fine. Is it possible that the camera is faulty? The other 2 cameras from the set work just fine.

Hey romell_suden,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. Could you tell us the status light of your camera? Also, check the battery state of your camera in the Google Home app.

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to the camera. To switch accounts, tap the drop-down arrow. Then, choose the correct account.
Note: If your account isn’t on the list, they can select Add another account.
  3. Select the camera from the list of devices.
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. Under Device features, tap Battery.

Thanks,
Archie
