Hello, I recently went through some struggles installing a wired 2nd gen nest doorbell through the nest app. I had to create a new home to avoid error N009 (15.5). When I switch to the new home in the Google home app, I am unable to see the new doorbell even though they’re set to the same home. Is there something that needs to be done to link the nest and home accounts or something?
Thank you

You cannot add a 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell (released a few months ago) to the Google Nest app; it works only in the Google Home app.
If you actually added a Google Nest Hello Doorbell to the Google Nest app, it should automatically appear in the same Google Nest "home" in the Google Home app. Are you logging onto both apps with the same Google Account username and password?
I don't know why you won have gotten an NC009 error ("your internet firewall may be preventing the Nest app from adding Nest camera or doorbell to your network") or why creating a second "home" allowed you to install it. (Nest Aware subscriptions apply to cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure").

So it appears that it was a Google Hello that I installed (not available for setup in the Home App). I ended up getting around the issue by updating the Wi-Fi (though it was working perfectly through the Nest app). It finally showed up on my Google home. Nuts that I had to create a new Home to get rid of the error N009 though. I had to move all of the other devices over and reorganize… blah.
