Nest indoor camera

I am receiving notifications of motion but when I click on them to view, I get a message that says the video was deleted or no longer available. I had a lot of notifications. What is going on? Haven’t had any connection issues since I switched to Verizon.

@Kinda

This should only happen if you do NOT have a Nest Aware subscription and either have an older camera that provides still photos for the most 3 recent hours without a subscription, or a newer camera that provides event video history for the most recent 3 hours without a subscription.

That’s nonsense. Because it’s saved footage for 24/7 hours.

@Kinda

You can check whether your Nest Aware Plus (24/7) subscription is active here:

https://store.google.com/subscriptions

This is what you get for each subscription level on each camera:

Perhaps you're having problems accessing video history that other customers have also reported. You could try contacting Support:

Dont expect an answer from Google support they have no idea about anything except how to blame everything else other than their own dodgy products.

The same thing happens to me occassionally and I have a Nest Aware subscription. The Google Nest cameras are not nearly of the same quality as the older Nest cams.

Yep the nest battery cams are rubbish and not fit for purpose at all in any way whatsoever. Only fit for the garbage dump.

I don’t think there was an option to buy older camera. But this is redundant of security.
