I'm wondering if anyone can comment on overall image quality between the new nest cams (indoor/outdoor battery as well as indoor wired) vs. first generation indoor and outdoor cameras.
Does the inclusion of HDR set the new ones apart from an image quality standpoint, even if the older ones have higher megapixel sensors, more digital zoom capabilities, more infrared LEDs, etc.
I do like that the new cameras for a lot of reasons (smarter, etc.), but I don't want to upgrade a bunch of first generation cameras if I would be sacrificing day and night time image quality and/or overall performance. Would love any insights from anyone that has real-world experience with both.
