Has anyone noticed that the video quality of the newer Nest Outdoor Camera (wired) is not a good as the older cameras? The video is dull, washed out, and very contrasty. The older cameras have a much better video quality.

Hi there,
Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I am terribly sorry to hear that you have had such a hard time with this! I would love to look into this issue further and help find a solution for you. First off, I have some questions I’d like to ask you.
Do you still need help with this issue?
What troubleshooting steps have you done thus far?
Have you tried to restart your device if you haven’t already?
If the restart didn’t work, have you tried to do a Factory Reset? This would be a last resort option, but would clear out issues and the device would essentially be ‘brand new’
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Best Regards,
Brad.

Hello Brad,
Yes I have done all the steps that you mentioned above, it is not a question of whether the camera works, it works fine, the question is if the video quality of the product has changed.

Hey there,
I apologize that I misunderstood your question! I understand what you are asking now. The video quality all depends on the strength of your wifi connection, and with that comes some issues if the camera is too far away from the wifi connection, the video qualify may be poorer. I am glad that you tried a restart, but it may just come down to your connection.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Best Regards,
Brad.
