Trying to connect 2 nest outdoor (wired) IQ cameras. Tried factory resetting, it gives the yellow counting down light, then nothing. I unplug it, plug it in and it turns blue (with the startup sound) and I try to connect. It gives me NC030. Moved another Camera within 1 foot of it so it can help with the assist setup, still gives error. I have tried everything….. help…..

I'm having the same issue only with the regular nest outdoor camera. Then when i plug it into my computer and click on setup, a message saying "The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information." Hey Nest...Please Help!

Hey folks,
Appreciate the help, Brad.
@Andbris4 Try force closing your Google Home app, then reboot your phone. Make sure the assisting product is awake and within pairing distance (maximum of 2 to 3 meters), then restart the assisting product. Also, put the mobile device or tablet on Airplane mode, then enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
@mrsneakysneak You need to use the Google Home app to set up your Nest camera. Try doing the steps above to see if that helps.
Let me know how it goes by replying to this thread.
Thanks,
Archie

@aatienza ... I downloaded the Google Home app and I am not even sure where to go in the app to try to setup the Nest camera? I click on assistant settings>devices>add devices>link a smart home device and the Nest isn't on the list? A little more detailed step by step process on getting this setup would be great! Thank you!

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out. Let's get this sorted out. A few questions: what is the color of the LED lights during setup? How far is it from the router?
Your Nest camera should be pulsing blue during setup. If you are trying to add it using the computer, you can only do so on a Windows PC or a MacOS Catalina or lower.
You can also check this article on how to Troubleshoot Nest camera and doorbell setup messages for detailed steps.
