It appears to be a common issue in the blogs regarding Nest cams not showing up on the Nest app, only the Google home app. Has anyone found a fix or is there a new software release from Google to make the Nest cam work on the Nest app. A bit frustrating purchasing what was believed a simple add to my Nest account only to be forced when scanning the QR code during "add a product" to the Google home app.

There is no fix.
Google Nest decided that the new cameras and doorbells released starting in Sept. 2021 would work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website.
We've been using 2 apps ever since we bought a battery camera in Sept. 2021.

THIS SEEMS TO BE RIDICULOUS? SO, how do you set group settings in Google Assist app?? I have no patience for stupid corporate decisions that make no sense to users but somehow developers felt the need to "fix what wasn't broken" 🤔
