Nest stopped wide angle view

My nest camera has always had a wide angle view. Recently that changed. The video was fine in one frame, and now shows only a very narrow view. I have moved the camera around - didn't help. I have cleaned the outside - didn't make a difference. Any thoughts? The camera is approximately 4 years old.

Based on the information you provided, I think you may have accidentally changed the camera's zoom through the Nest app or Google Home app. When you’re watching Google Nest camera or doorbell video with the app, you can take a closer look by zooming in with your fingers.

That actually turned out not to be the problem. I had to click on the little symbol in the bottom left of the screen and then the zoom function and wide angle worked perfectly.
