I am somewhat amazed / frustrated at the quality of programming for the Nest web browser. I have 8 cameras, and want to see them on a regular 16:9 monitor.
The browser always shows a 2 column / 4 row formation (not even aligned, because the doorbell has a different aspect ratio than the rest of the cameras). If I would like to see all cameras, I see them all the middle of the screen (in this 2 column/4 row formation), with a lot of empty space on both left and right. The camera views themselves occupy about 1/3 of the screen.
Google owned Nest for a few years now. It would seem that they could afford to fix this? A high school student could probably do it during a summer internship (or a day work, really). It should just simply scale with the browser: for a full screen, I would expect to see maybe 4 columns, 2 rows, so that it fills the screen.
