I purchased a new Google outdoor camera just a few weeks ago and on the first rain it is already filled with water and the picture is completely fogged up. Clearly this camera has a bad seal. I can either return it through Amazon or through you directly. Please advise.

Depends on where you bought it from. If you bought it from Amazon then you should go through Amazon and see if you can do a return there. Usually around the holidays they extend the return window. Mark the item as defective and they will process.
If you bought it directly from the Google Store you have 15 days to process a return I believe. Go to this link for help on that, looks like you can contact their support directly for warranty related stuff.

Your camera clearly seems defective, but note that Google Nest's cameras are "weather resistant in accordance with its IP54 rating, but is not waterproof" (https://support.google.com/product-documentation/answer/10748606). All of our outdoor cameras are mounted under eaves or under a camera shield (available on Amazon for $12-$15). The oldest is 5+ years old and none have leaked yet in Minnesota weather.
With increased rain this past summer, we even had to add a shield over one of our outdoor electrical outlets.
