I have 3 cameras. 2 older on Nest app and one newer on google home app I’ve just had fibre installed and now my cameras need to be connected to the new WiFi hub with the new password. How do I do this without taking them down (they are located at first floor height). And will it be same process for all 3 cameras? Every time I google it I seem to get a different answer.

when re-adding it will ask you to match up the mac addresses you will need to make notes of aaaaaall the serial numbers, macs, and codes
or better yet, instead of doing all your things 1 by 1, just rename the new fibre thing to the exact same wifi name and password combo you used to have and it will all connect up straight away. i'm in the uk i just went from vdsl to fibre my stuff's on my roof i just changed the new wifi name. good luck!

Unfortunately I changed everything in my house to the new hubs password immediately. I’m afraid I don’t know how to do the first thing you said to try Should I just delete the cameras from the app and restart as if they are new cameras? Do I have no other option but to take the cameras down and bring into the house? I know we had to do this before when we had a previous updated hub.

i think you may have to physically access the cams. when re-adding it will ask you to match the last 4 digits of the "technical info" > "mac" serial number to the 5-character code on the back of the cam. i don't know what will happen if you deliberately guessed them
the only way out for you, i think, would be to get a helper to connect you up temporarily in a big daisy-chain like so:
nest cam on old details, connect old router to new with ethernet cable, and follow google's guide above
if you do need to get up there - write the code down, and the cardboard box has the serial already on
and next time you change the broadband - ask them before you do anything - how to make the wifi the same. then you will never have to do this again
sorry i can't think of how else to do it 😞
