I've had a Nest Thermostat for 5+ years in a UK home and it runs fine on Nest app from Canada. I recently set up a new camera in UK home, but I am now back in Canada and would like to start a camera Subscription to Nest Aware. I'm concerned that moving from my old Nest app to Google Home I will lose my thermostat connection ? Does Google Home need me to be physically present in UK to connect to camera? Anyone done something similar? Tnx

Based on my experience you should still be able to access thermostat and a camera in both Nest app and Google Home app. I had no issues with migration process to Google account. Be aware that as of now the functionality in Google Home app is limited for legacy cameras. Tbh I don’t think you need to be physically present. I don’t recall any issues requiring me to reboot my cameras.
