No 24/7 recording from nest cameras since app updatr

We have two nest cam outdoor cameras. Both are wired in.

They have always provided 24/7 recording as we have the paid for subscription.

Since the app has updated the 24/7 recording has completely vanished.

If this is a permanent change then they can go in the bin!

Anyone else having this issue?

@M4ver1ck

If you have the Google Nest Camera (Battery) plugged in with the optional power cable (as we do), then 24/7 recording has not disappeared. It's just hidden by default.

When you display your camera's live feed in the Google Home app, you'll see an icon below the video feed consisting of 3 small staggered vertical lines. Click on that icon, and the icon will change to 3 small horizontal bars and you'll see a new vertical timeline. It'll then stay that way on subsequent visits unless you click on the icon again.

It's not at all intuitive.

Awesome! Thank you so much! It was driving me mad.

That's not intuitive at all!
