No Event Detected

My cameras will stop recording and say “no event detected “ when I know there was something. I do not see any setting to change this. I have had two security events happen and they were not recorded.

To get started, please provide some more information by answering the following questions:

  • Are you using Google Nest Cams? If so, what is the model of your Nest Cams? You can use this help center as a model reference: Technical specs for Nest cameras and doorbells.
  • Are you using an iPhone or an Android device? Is the operating system up to date?
  • Are you using the Nest app or the Google Home app to manage your cameras?
  • Are you signed into the same account that your cameras are linked to?
  • When did this issue start? Did anything change in your home or with your camera setup around that time?
  • Do you have a Google Home Premium subscription? If so, what type of Google Home Premium subscription do you have?
  • Is the entire video history missing, or just certain portions?
  • How is your home internet connection? Have you noticed any other devices going offline or experiencing slow speeds lately?

Please provide the details above so I can proceed with the most effective troubleshooting steps for your setup.
